Satoshi Kon’s Paprika

Anime images from Paprika courtesy of Twitchfilm.comPaprika is the new film from Satoshi Kon. It’s about about a female detective who enters the dreams of people in order to investigate criminal cases. The most excellent folks at TwitchFilm have several new stills from the film.

    Cool! Satoshi Kon’s movies are really good. He did Paranoia Agent as well which is one of my favorite animes. Thanks for the heads up Dave!

    Yeah, Tokyo Godfathers was an excellent film, as was Millennium Actress and Perfect Blue.

    Although I wouldn’t advise Perfect Blue to everyone – it’s a very, very intense film!

    I’ve seen the movie screening in Paris, France, and it’s absolutely brilliant :) I love all the little references to the japanese consuming habits too, but of course the dreamy part of the movie is just the most interesting :) I highly advise people to go see it!
