Here’s our album from the 2007 Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens!

Many anime fans once again proved that they don’t just love anime itself, but the whole culture that spawned it, by showing up en force to the Midwest Matsuri. When asked why they were attending the Japanese Festival, several anime fans responded that they love all things Japan. One gal stated that this (Japanese culture) is where anime came from.

We spotted many fans cosplaying while we were dancing and we were unable to get their pics. I hope all you fans enjoyed the festivities!

I love anime. Specifically, series involving any of the following things: weird fantasy elements, super-powers, robots, aliens, wicked humor, crazy villains, horror, ninjas and samurai. I guess that means I like a lot of anime.
