Anime Central 2006 logo' class="alignright" />David, Zingor and myself are going up north to Chicago to cover Anime Central for the St. Louis area. We’re all stoked to get up there and cover as much of the con as possible and have a helluva time doing it! David is looking forward to trying to interview Junko Mizuno. I was going to cover the Gothic Lolita contest, but ACen canceled it and turned it into a panel (which I’ll cover). Zingor is really looking forward to the masquerade (aren’t we all) and we plan on taking a ton of pics of good cosplayers; hopefully they’re the majority.
I personally am looking forward to the Soap Bubble (an anime rave). It’ll be fun to see how anime fans par-tay. I have no idea when this event is though, cause they don’t have a schedule as of right now. I just checked their site and they have a programming section but no schedule. I’ve heard rumors that a schedule will be available on Friday but how the hell does that help out those of us who actually need to plan?
Regardless this should be a blast and I’m really looking forward to it. To all you St. Louis fans who will be at the con: we hope to see you there!
