We love Apple. Rachel writes most of her articles on her MacBook. So of course, we’re ecstatic about Apple’s iPhone, which hits stores this Friday, June 29 2007. One of it’s totally awesome features is it’s ability to play widescreen video. So if you’re one of the first lucky people to get an iPhone, be sure to upload your favorite anime series on it!

So what are your thoughts about iPhone’s hype and the ability to watch your favorite anime series and movies in public?
The relatively small storage space on the iphone makes it kind of hard to put anime on it… at least, not if you want to also have songs, and also photos.

lk – Yes, the 4GB iPhone model could be kinda limiting, however with the 8GB one, you could ***theoretically*** store ten anime films on iPhone (in iPod video format). Or maybe you could fit a 26-episode anime series on 8GB iPhone?
Apple, are you reading this? Send us an iPhone and we’ll be happy to test it out with lots of anime video, soundtracks, etc.
Well, it has a 4gb and 8gb models….
A few 26 episode series I have downloaded take up roughly 4.5 gb…so if you even only put 13 eps on your phone, then watch em, then take ‘em off when you finish watching, you could easily have plenty of anime on your phone.
Unfortunately, I generally drive/walk everywhere, so having a huge multi-media-ridden phone isn’t very useful for me. I’d like to see the iPhone’s price come down though. $499 for a cell phone? I still have college loans to pay off. x.x
