Probably one reason why he is a writer rather than, say, a radio/TV talk show host...

Thanks for the heads up about PopJNeo.  Unfortunately, the closest Kinokuniya
is about 1,000 miles away from me.  I&#039;ll look for an alternate way of getting a copy;
in the meantime, I&#039;ll check out their website.</description>

		<description>That&#039;s pretty cool. I like Macias&#039;s writing (Though, after hearing his commentary track on Train Man, I wish he would work on his Japanese pronunciation).   I&#039;d highliy recommend Tokyoscope to anyone interested in cult Japanese films. 

I might pick up a copy of Otaku USA to check it out. There&#039;s also a pretty well written free magazine called PopJNeo (http://www.popjneo.com/). You can usually find it at Kinokuniya.</description>
