Yes, Arri is ok. During the day, she slept in the sunlight on the floor. At night, she kept warm by sleeping on the bed. I don't know what it is about the power here - I mostly blame Ameren!Julie - Wow, a full week is a very long time. Especially in that cold! To keep warm, we mostly stayed away from home and drank coffee or went over to our friend's house. At night, we had a kerosene heater. Thanks for the well wishes!Thankfully - with power restored - things are almost normal! zingor – I hope the snow has mostly melted! Yes, Arri is ok. We went one full week without power 2 years ago, with temps in the low teens. Not fun! To keep from freezing, we alternated between hotels and my parents' house. Hopefully power will be restored soon, and everything can get back to normal. How are you keeping warm? I really feel for you! Ouch. We didn't lose our power but the roads didn't appear to have been plowed. I was an hour late to work the other day and I left a half hour early! My ride is usually only 20 min! I hope Arri is okay. What is it with the power there? You must have crappy wiring or something. It seems like every storm knocks you out for a few days. EEEK! 4 days!!! Ouch.
