Legendary Anime Studio’s Content to Appear on World Anime Channel

Crunchyroll announced that it is partnering with Bandai Channel to bring blockbuster hits CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion from legendary anime studio Sunrise to Crunchyroll starting today.

Vice President and COO of Bandai Channel, Takeshi Shimizu, states, “We are looking to create a synergy effect between the world-class contents of one group company, Sunrise, and the retail distribution strength of another group, Bandai Entertainment, culminating digitally on Crunchyroll.”

“This relationship is very important for us,” states Vince Shortino, Representative Director of Crunchyroll’s Japan office.”Sunrise owns the sci-fi/action genre in the anime world, and this gives us a piece of that segment. We look forward to being a part of their success”

On August 10th of the year 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia began a campaign of conquest, its sights set on Japan. Japan’s rights and identity were stripped away, the once proud nation now referred to as Area 11.
