Here’s some unusual anime news for the day: Hollywood director Wolfgang Petersen (director of my fave The Neverending Story) might be working on a Live Action Paprika film. Paprika was directed by the fantastic Satoshi Kon.

This just in: The upcoming ninja action film ‘Ninja Assassin‘ is not ‘Live Action Ninja Scroll Movie‘, lol. Apparently there was speculation that it was secretly a live action version of the anime. Well, according to AICN via several sources, it’s not (duh):
