Currently, RightStuf! does not have a sale going on, but they do have a contest. It is a Viz Pictures contest and features two live-action prize packages. One prize package features a copy of Katsuhito Ishii’s The Taste of

The online part of the ANIMATE anime and comic chain in Japan, Animate.tv has announced that it will stream the Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai series from episode 12 on for free starting October 24. Several TV stations in Japan had preempted or cancelled the series because of the recent juvenile axe assault cases. Each episode will be free for one week, then be sold at regular prices afterwards. Some caveats:
- you need a Japanese IP address
- you need Windows and Internet Explorer
- the episodes will be the “raw” versions…no sub or dub
