Here it is, folks, the post you’ve been waiting for: The Anime Blog’s Anime Central 2007 Contest! I want to first off give a shout out to all the ACen volunteers that made this con happen. I then want to say how great it was to meet so many people from all around the country who made the trek to be at ACen this year.
We had a great time shmoozing with the crowd, going to panels, interviewing artists, meeting fellow press (Julie, Jen, Godlen!) and all around experiencing the phenomena that’s an anime con. Over the next week, we’ll be posting our panel coverage and we’ll also be in the process of putting up our People’s Choice Awards for Best in Cosplay.
For those who didn’t attend the con and are wondering “WTF?!”, we handed out fliers with details on our ACen Tenth Anniversary Giveaway Contest. We also decided that it’s time for the con goers to have a chance to vote for best in cosplay (best male/ female cosplay, best lolita, most obscure cosplay, sexiest cosplay, etc.). So keep reading for all our ACen coverage, opinions, and experiences!
