Well, that and not making the movie into a Crap-fest a la "Mortal Combat 2" (MC1 rocked; 2 sucked).I won't hold my breathe for LA DMC, though. An anime is good enough for me right now! ^^b

@ Bruce Acosta, Who, oh who, would play Dante in a LA DMC? I think that would be tough. Back in 2003, Gaga Communications had the rights to make the DMC movie but the movie is still in development but other film companies like Threshold Entertainment should get their hands on the Devil May Cry movie project and the Darkstalkers series.Devil May Cry and Darkstalkers are all created by Capcom and the live action motion picutre for DMC will be good and Darkstalkers will be a very hard as long as the script is not cheesy and it needs to be serious based on the first DS game,Threshold could do the Darkstalkers movie and the television series just like Mortal Kombat.Thank You.

My initial impressions aren't too positive. My fave DMC is still the first one. Two was too easy and I thought the story and dialog sucked. Three was too hard, too short, and I didn't like Dante's "whoo-de-doo I'm a dumb teenager" persona. The first one had a great story and it was fun to learn how to master all the nifty weapons. I also liked Trish. Lucia annoyed me and Lady was an unsympathetic bitch. But that's me. Some people love DMC3. I'll have to replay it to see.

@Chris, I’ve actually seen a few of the DMC episodes and will write a review once I’ve watched few more. Battle Arena Toshinden, Fatal Fury, Tekken, Sin, etc. The only good ones I recall are Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals and Gungrave. Maaaaybe Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie.Good article, Rachel. Which was your favorite DMC game?

DMC anime might be fun…but as other game to anime translations have shown, more often than not they prove sub par.
