This week's Gold Card Value Update is live — here's where the top gold Pokémon cards landed for Friday, October 23, 2026. Prices are near-mint ungraded market values from PriceCharting, vs last week (October 16).

Top 5:

1. Giratina VSTAR — Crown Zenith GG69 — $261.33 (-$6.15, -2.3%)

2. Mega Charizard Y ex — Ascended Heroes 294/217 — $261.05 (-$58.33, -18.3%)

3. Reshiram — Legendary Treasures 114/113 — $219.57 (+$3.56, +1.6%)

4. Mega Charizard X ex — Phantasmal Flames 130/094 — $215.11 (+$2.29, +1.1%)

5. Mega Lucario ex — Mega Evolution 188/132 — $214.69 (+$11.58, +5.7%)

Biggest riser: Mega Lucario ex, +$11.58 (+5.7%) to $214.69 — and by percentage, Pikachu ex (Surging Sparks 247/191), +11.6% to $75.33.

Biggest faller: Mega Charizard Y ex, -$58.33 (-18.3%) to $261.05 — that drop cost it the #1 spot; Giratina VSTAR now leads by just $0.28.

The king got humbled this week: Mega Charizard Y ex shed 18.3% in seven days, and the newest Mega golds kept sliding with it — Mega Gardevoir ex down 9.3% and Mega Darkrai ex down 8.5%. The money rotated into the proven names instead, with Mega Lucario ex posting the biggest dollar gain, Arceus VSTAR up 4.3%, and Pikachu ex ripping 11.6% off the bottom of the board. Crown Zenith's gold VSTARs did what blue chips do — Giratina barely moved and still took the crown.
