1 min read

Lesson 26 is a full review scenario set at an anime convention, with no new items — instead it recombines all of Phase Two (Lessons 14-25) into one flowing day of Japanese, from a polite entrance to shopping, food, a panel, and closing out. You'll practice ohayou gozaimasu (good morning, polite), yoroshiku onegaishimasu (please treat me well), shitsurei shimasu (excuse me), kashikomarimashita (certainly), hanasemasu (I can speak), yomemasu (I can read), tabetai and kaitai (want to eat / want to buy), ikanakucha (I must go), ganbaranakucha (I must do my best), tara and ba conditionals, kara and node (because), hou ga comparisons with ichiban (number one), slang like yabai and sugee, counters like san-satsu (three books), and spoiler-safe plot talk with monogatari (story), shujinkou (main character), and nakama (companions).
